FAQs

How do I start?

Start by looking around the site. A general path would be :
* How it Works
* Gallery of the sacrament that interests you.
* Font list
*Orderform

What paper should I use?

You can use whatever paper your printer (machine) can handle if you are printing your own. If your printer can handle it, 160 gsm is a good weight… heavier than copy paper, but not too rigid.

If you are using something like Officeworks or other copy shop, ask for their suggestion.

White and parchment are popular, but you can absolutely choose your own. If you choose a certificate that has a background built into it, white is suggested. Printing a pattern over a textured looking paper gets a bit busy.

What printer (machinery) should I use?

As far as machinery is concerned, a colour printer is recommended. Laser, inkjet or wax can be used. Most school or parish copiers are suitable.
Be careful with inkjet as the ink can bleed if it gets wet. Even a licked thumb can cause a big mess. A solution is to laminate the certificate after the print and/or signing.

Can I edit the final product?

Graphics are not editable and any wording that is part of the graphics, eg. Spirit gifts, are not editable.
If you opt for your certificates in word format, the rest of the text can be edited if you decide you need something changed.
If you opt for PDF format, it is not editable, only printable, unless you have a PDF editor, not just a reader.

How many modifications can I make before I confirm my order?

You may make as many mods as you want til you are happy with your design.

How do I get the names and other
information onto my certificate?

A word or excel document of names can be uploaded from within the orderform.
Most other details will be individually covered in the order form and uploaded within the order form.
We will lay it all out and fill in the various fields and email it to you for approval.
